We learn to push buttons early don’t we…
Published by jinfinite8 August 21st, 2006 in John.John has been working overtime with me on this lately. I do my best to not let it get the best of me - that’s my job and my obligation as his Father.
Today’s Father of the Day award goes to ME because I didn’t kill John when he decided to pee all over my bathroom wall, floor, my new book and a magazine that I’m still reading. No mom, I’m positive John did this and not Julia because
a) she was still asleep
b) Girls have a hard time hitting a wall four feet up with a stream the likes of this one
Why do I deserve an award? I didn’t loose my cool at all and I gave John a long time out even though I felt like tossing him in a pirannah tank with bacon attached to his feet.
What could I have done better?
Easy: I should have made him clean it up - I have NO idea why I did this for him.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
