Cute Little Bastards

When I dropped John off at the Pixie program this morning I had a nice surprise. One of the program leaders explained that the Palm Beach Post was visiting yesterday for a Valentine’s day article and a picture of John got featured. Below you’ll find a copy of the picture, the picture on the Post’s web site, and a scan of the actual newspaper clipping. Gotta love the police blotter hood next to John’s pic in the newspaper version.

About that reference to John being in the media again: right next door to the Pixie program is one of John and Julia’s favorite parks (Howard Park). Not long ago I was interviewed on camera by the local T.V. station (wptv Channel 5) with John and Julia playing in the background. I guess this city park is a hot bed of local journalism. I just find it weird that we’ve had this happen in quick succession and that John was the only one featured today when there were twelve other cute kids they took pictures of. John, you’re just lucky I guess (too bad they screwed up your name though).
