Where’s Julsie??!@$%$*
Published by jinfinite8 April 2nd, 2007 in John and Julia.I am about to cross a very busy road with John, Julia, and Shannon tonight and I see Shannon has John’s hand. I scan for Julia and nothing - then again all in a fraction of a second and again nothing, and then the words are coming out of my mouth in alarm:
“Where’s Julia, Shannon WHERE’S JULIA?!!” as I spin around again twice very quickly and something keeps getting in my vision and slowing me down as Shannon stops me and points to Julia…in my arms.
I look at Shannon and I’m just so happy I have her I don’t care how stupid I am. Hey, we’ve all done this with sunglasses on our head but did you ever do that holding a 3 year old?
We played at the Lego toyland at Downtown Disney after dinner and I rediscovered how much I love lego. Here’s a pic from tonight back at the hotel room.
Duplo IS NOT the same - they’re like different toys. The picture is of John and Julia playing with their new Lego blocks on their bed.

Hi
Can’t say I ever looked for you while I was holding you but I sure can relate to the feeling of panic….
Kyron, our 6 1/2 little in-house de-facto grandkid and his mother and I are all into legos. He is especially fond of the racecars and monster trucks (surprise surprise). Seems like a bit of a cheat to us oldies that legos all are so specific now but I guess that is marketing genius and they still provide a great deal of pleasure.
We have also discovered free lego games on the computer just recently so while I am having brekkie he builds ramps and races his racecars and when I check my emails at night we look to see if anyone has sent me any funny emails and then find a game to play…other than that you got me hooked on spider solitare and I have pretty much given up the regular version. Kyron is pretty good at that too.
Luv, Mum
Yes, I even amzed myself at my complete lack of awareness. Old age I suppose…
